Is the Xfinity Streaming App the only way to see a guide showing Xfinity channels in a Roku TV?

The Xfinity Streaming app does show a guide.  But i was wondering if Roku TV has a way to create a guide like it does for Antenna TV.  It appears there are two ways to watch Xfinity cable tv on a Roku TV, 1) using Xfinity Streaming App, and 2) using the hdmi input connected to the Xfinity box and having to use the Xfinity remote control to view guide and change channels.  Is this correct assumption?

    I think you are correct. Cable networks are not handled directly by the TV. It has to go through a cable box or app. It's not like the old analog days where you could watch most channels directly, or even early digital. EVERYTHING digital is encrypted today, and analog TV channels are gone from most all cable systems.
