I had to buy a replacement remote and it sucks.

I sit about 7 feet from the tv and the remote has to be pointed EXACTLY at the rf sensor on the tv to register. I had issues with the included remote working from a distance as well. Can anyone reccomended a possible 3rd party remote that can work from my 7ft distance without needing to look right at the sensor?

For reference, we have a TCL 55" Series 5 Roku TV. The OEM remote was good for maybe 7 or 8 feet. I bought a "One For All" universal Roku streaming remote Model #URC 11-7935 R06  (Link below) They are $24 at WallyMart. It uses 4 aaa batteries instead of the OEM's 2 batteries, which gives more power and longer battery life. The range is at least 50% better. Our kitchen bar is a good 15+ feet from the TV in the living room and it works. Just know the preset hot keys are different (no Sling) and the remote manual claims the existing presets can be re-programmed. I tried this (to add a Sling hot key) and it was really wonky and doesn't seem to stay programmed. But my main problem was lack of range and this remote does the job, although it's a bit spendy.
