Thank you for the post!
If your Roku device is unable to update after a factory reset, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check your internet connection: Make sure that your Roku device is connected to the internet and that your internet connection is stable. You can try restarting your router or modem to see if that improves the connection.
- Check for any software updates on your router: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your router, as an outdated firmware version can sometimes cause connectivity issues.
- Try a wired connection: If you're using a wireless connection, try using an Ethernet cable to connect your Roku device to your router directly. This can sometimes improve the stability of the connection.
- Power cycle your Roku device: Unplug your Roku device from the power source and wait for about 30 seconds before plugging it back in. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues or we recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.
We hope it helps!
Warm regards,
Lianna
