How do I connect a wireless keyboard to my roku TV or does it have to be a specific brand

I was trying to hook a wireless keyboard to my roku t.v does it have to be a specific brand or do I need an app. Or can I even download apps to the t.v that are not roku apps. PLEASE HELP

That's a pity. Please make it possible, though!

I am not able to use the virtual keyboard in the Roku App on my mobile device while watching in my TV's direction.

    Physics says that not being able to look at the TV, then at your hands, then back at the TV, all without having to change the direction your body is facing, is essentially a physical impossibility, so I am curious what confluence of circumstances might cause your stated exception.
