2 x rokus, both brand new both connected fine the first time they were connected to the hotel wireless using the hotel & dorm option. However now that both of them were disconnected for a period of time, neither of them will connect again. They are both in this endless loop when setting up the wireless connection. They first go to "i am at a hotel or college dorm" screen, so i select that, then a screen flashes up for a few seconds with the temporary wireless information to help authentication for the hotel's proxy access. Once that screen flashes up and goes away it shows connected, but you can't access anything on the internet because it's not getting through the proxy at the hotel. This appears to be a long known issue with Roku, and Roku apparently doesn't do anything like a manual process to implement re-authentication for the hotel's proxy. I've tried resetting the network, no dice....tried factory reset, same thing.. all with restarts of the roku in between. All end up with same repeated endless loop with no change or access to internet. These are pretty much paper weights for hotel use.

Hello Jah29m,
Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!
We certainly understand that you are unable to connect to the Hotel network. When using Hotel and Dorm Connect, be sure to travel with the following:
- Your activated Roku device, any accessory cables, power adapter, and remote. If your Roku device has been disconnected for an extended period of time, connect it to your home network before traveling and have it manually check for a software update.
- A computer or smartphone with wireless capabilities and a web browser
- A High-Speed HDMI® Cable (*not needed when traveling with a Roku Streaming Stick® or Roku TV™)
If you are still experiencing the issue, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem, follow this link: How to use Hotel and Dorm Connect to connect to the internet
Keep us posted on how it goes.
Regards,
Nimfa
