Home screen Error: Subscription not exists or has expired

Just started a couple days ago. I will be sitting on my Home Screen and in a few minutes the screen goes black and the following message is displayed. 

“Subscription not exists or has expired. Please launch this channel normally to subscribe”

That’s it. That is all it says. I thinking it is not from Roku do to the grammatical error, but also doesn’t tell me what channel to launch. Once it is up, it stays there until I get rid of it.  I have tried unplugging the Roku player and plodding it in again, no change. HELP!!!!!

    That unexpected message and the black screen behavior definitely sound unusual—especially since it doesn’t specify which channel is causing it. We appreciate you trying basic troubleshooting, and we'll try another step and see if this works.

    Try to restart your Roku device from Settings → System → Power → System restart. If the issue continues, let us know the following:

    • Your Roku device model
    • Any recent changes (new channels, updates, etc.)
    • A photo of the message from the Roku home screen
