Home Button not working or Roku Remote App on my iphone

I am using my Iphone with Roku App and a TCL Roku TV model # 43S451.

The remote app is version 2.2.1

The home button does not work.  When watching Live TV off of my tv antenna, the only way to get back to the HOME screen is to continually hit the "back arrow" button.  Also, the "Exit" key does not work. 

I have tried turning off the TV and turning it back on.  Also, tried unplugging it for 10 minutes and plugging it back in. Still no luck.

Also tried turning the phone off, and back on....still no luck.

I went to other sources HDMI inputs, and Trivia, and the only way back home is with the "back arrow" button.  Its pretty annoying considering everything else works great.

    I understand the issue you have encountered with the Roku mobile app, and I'm here to help.

    I recommend performing the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

    1. Uninstall the Roku mobile app
    2. Restart your phone.
    3. Reinstall the Roku mobile app and connect it to your Roku TV.
    4. Ensure that your Roku TV is up-to-date. This can be checked in Settings > System > System Update.

    Once all of these steps are performed, check to see any improvements with the Roku mobile app.
