A Hisense TV I have been using for a few years only powers on and off with the remote. All of the other buttons on the remote don't work. Is there a way to reset it? Someone else may have messed with it. I did change the batteries. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Does this remote have crescent moon key or microphone key?
If it has microphone key it's RF remote, could have paired on mistake to neighbors Roku device, but is still set to your tv brand for volume and power? Re-pair it to your Roku tv. Look for pairing button in the battery compartment. Power off your tv for bit, when turn it on after it stops bouncing press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds release. Just let it communicate with tv, don't press anything else until you get confirmation it's paired on screen.
