Has Roku fixed the problem where a spectrum remote won’t fully work on a Roku TCL TV?

Looks like no new posts on this since early 2024 so I’m hoping there’s a fix for the volume function on a Spectrum remote won’t work with a TCL Robu tv.   This is very annoying.

Are you annoyed enough to contact Spectrum about this?  It's their remote.

I’d be more happy to contact Spectrum,  but the research I did suggested it was a known problem with the firmware on a Roku/TCL tv!!!   How much research did you do before you asked your annoying question?

    The IR code used by TCL Roku tv's is over 30 years old, it hasn't changed. Try codes in your Spectrum remote under such brands as Admiral, Dynex, Ilo, Orion, and Sansui.
