Green screen with auto/Dolby vision setting on 4kHDR stick

Got a 3820x2 stick. Directly connected to hdmi on LG Oled.  Stick resolution is set to auto/4k Dolby vision. Watching some 4k vids on YouTube, I get a green screen with audio. Switching to plain 4k “fixes” the issue. Googling it is how I found this work around since others have reported green screen issue with Dolby vision. Can this be fixed so I can leave the stick in auto / Dolby vision setting?

    We noticed that switching to 4K/Dolby Vision resolution produces a green screen display on your Roku streaming stick, and we'd like to know more about it. 

    Have you noticed this happening with any other apps besides YouTube? Also, did your device get any recent software updates before the issue started? If you can, head to Settings > System > About and let us know what software version you're currently on; that'll help us narrow things down.
