I have just received my Roku Express 4K and I "Freeview Play" is not included within the Home menu as advertised.
I have checked for a software update and I am running the current software version 12.5.0, Build 4178.
Accessing live UK live Freeview tv is important to me and I need to access it through Roku via Wi-Fi.
I also cannot find an app for this service either.
Please can someone help?
It looks to me like it's only available on Roku TVs, not Roku devices connected to a TV.

Hi, did you ever figure out a solution to watching live freeview tv through your roku? I have an actual roku tv not just the box and I too can not find freeview play either installed or available to download. I have an ariel but it doesn't pick any channels up and I'm sick of catch up apps like all4 my5 bbciplayer itvhub or play what ever it is now. The live tv helps me massively with my routine and in turn helps with my mental health. I'm able to manage my time effectively, use the adds to my advantage and monitor when it's time to go to bed. Not to mention actually keeping up with what is on and able to join in conversations socially. Using catch up apps I miss alot of what is relevant and current. I end up binge watching things and loosing so much time. I also feel disconnected from reality and society aswell. Sorry for the trauma dump. It's just really bugging me now. Apparently freely is a good alternative. I saw an advert on someone else's tv but again, I can't find this as an available app to install on my roku tv arghhh. Please tell me you figured something out? Even a similar app that does the same thing?
