Error 009 was fine now won’t connect

I’ve had my Roku TV for almost 3 months. I’ve had no problems until today. I am getting Error 009 message and I can’t connect to my wifi. I’ve reset the tv, the router and did a factory reset, and it still won’t connect. Password is correct and it shows a strong signal. Please help.

    Just a quick note: error code 009 indicates a connection issue. Your Roku is connected to the router, but it seems like the router isn't getting internet connection. Since you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, I’d recommend giving your ISP a call for more assistance.

    Did you ever get a resolution? Everything else connects to our wifi just fine except our roku stick. We've done literally everything listed on multiple forums. SO frustrating. Still got error code 009.

      If you are using a mobile app with your router to manage network connections, verify that you have not inadvertently "Paused" or "Blocked" the internet access for your Streaming Stick.

      Generally speaking, the 009 error is the inability of the device to connect to the internet.  Other numbered error messages reflect the device is unable to connect to the network/router (the actual wifi).

      Need to determine if the device is having an issue connecting to the network or the internet.  The device first has to connect to the network successfully before it can connect to the internet.

      Same issue, no matter what roku stick does not connect to wifi. Ive tried EVERYTHING including factroy reset. Roku stick conencts to my hotspot withiut issue as well. Router is fine, all other devices connect without issue.

        Error 009 means the Roku device is connected to the router but not to the internet. 
        To help us look into this further, could you share the following details? 

        • Roku device info: Software version, Device ID, and Serial Number (found in Settings > System > About).
        • Tracker ID Software version and build (press Home5x and Back5x)
        • Internet service provider 


        Once we have that info, weʼll review and follow up as soon as we can.
