Roku Stick 4K Stopped Working

I bought my son a new Roku Streaming Stick 4K so he can watch shows in his room on his monitor.  This worked great for about 6 weeks then suddenly stopped working.  I swapped the batteries, moved the power to a wall outlet and even connected the device to the TV in my living room and still no display.  The white light is on the back of the unit (showing power) but the remote does nothing and the input port states that there is no input from the unit.  I'd take it back to Best Buy for another but I just missed the 6 weeks return policy.  Maybe they'll swap it out but I thought I'd get some input here before proceeding with that plan.  And if they don't take it back I'll have to go through Roku's support/warranty to get a new one.  Anyway... thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for sharing the steps you've tried. Since your Roku Streaming Stick 4K isn't displaying anything, let's go through a few more troubleshooting steps.

    1. Ensure your Roku Stick is firmly connected to the TV’s HDMI port.
    2. Check your TV input by pressing the Input, Source, or Video button on your TV remote to make sure it's set to the correct HDMI port.
    3. Try plugging the Roku into a different HDMI port on the same TV.
    4. Disconnect the power cable and the Roku Stick from the TV and reconnect it again.

      I've tried all 4 steps above with no success.  Do you have any other suggestions?
