Can't connect to dorm wifi

I just bought a roku stick for my dorm room. It wont connect to my school's wifi. Every time I try to set it up, my phone won't allow me to select the network it tells me to. And I cant change anythi...

Greetings, HonyBadgr06​!

There are several reasons why you can't connect to the school's wifi, and we'll try to check things out.

  • Are there any error messages appearing on the screen? Mind sharing a photo of it?
  • Do you have a physical remote that we can use? This will help us navigate through the Roku Settings since the Roku App won't work unless you're connected.
  • Lastly, let's try to isolate the issue by connecting it to a different internet. A mobile hotspot would do.
