Apparently Common Roku Home Page Issue

I have the Roku Express 4K Plus.. periodically on the homepage all choices will disappear except for

Home

Streaming Channels

Settings

It's a pain in the rear, in the past I was able to unplug it and replug it in and that would return but now it's not doing it. I see I'm not the only one that's having this issue. If anyone figured it out I would love to know the answer.

    I found the answer online and it worked! First on your Roku remote you press the home button five times. Then you press the up button once. Then you press the reverse play button twice and the fast forward button twice. The screen kind of froze but within about 30 seconds everything was the way it should be without having to delete anything I have saved on my homepage.

    I don't know what causes this, but you might be able to recover faster via Settings > System > Power > System restart, or systems without the Power option Settings > System > System restart instead of fumbling around with power cords.
