Smart bulb color won't change color

So I've had 2 smart color bulbs for a while and now they won't change color. They worked just fine before but now they're stuck on green. I've tried factory resetting by turning off the lamps 3 times and all that stuff. It'll connect to my wifi and everything, but when I go to change the color or brightness it just won't. It's stuck on green and I hate it. The lights themselves are green, but in the app they're grey and set to 1% brightness.

    • Reset the bulb: Turn the bulb off and on 3 times quickly.
    • Relaunch the Smart Home app: Uninstall and reinstall the Roku Smart Home app.
    • Relocate the bulb: Try plugging the bulb into a different outlet.

    I’m having the same problem. Setup goes smoothly but then the bulb stays green and won’t respond to the app my phone.

      What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? Are you receiving any error messages or error codes on your Roku mobile app?

      You can try signing out of your Roku Smart Home app and signing back in again. You can also check out this support article on how to adjust the temperature, color, and brightness of your Roku smart bulb.

        I have gone through setup multiple times. Setup is quick and easy, my phone connects to the bulb. I made sure both phone and bulb were connected to the same 2.4 WiFi. After the initial setup, though, the bulb quits responding and just stays green. I did try signing out and back in.

  • Having the same problem since January 2024. So frustrating!
