Roku TV Camera app can't view live feed

Ok so I bought cameras & set them up at my elderly dad's house so I could keep an eye on him from my home or frankly anywhere I may be. It works great on my phone but i can't watch him from my roku tv that I have at home. By the way both tvs & cameras are all on the same roku account. That was the point of doing all this so I could watch him while I wasn't at his house. I can view recordings but not live video. How can I fix this issue or did I just waist all this money for nothing? Cameras at his house & 1 tv, the other roku tv is at my house a half mile away. It was my understanding that as long as everything was on the roku account that I should be able to access live video from any location as long as i was using a roku device.  Please help.

    Hello there Cgml_oren​

    Thank you for posting your concern about the Roku TV Camera app, where you can't view the live stream. 

    Quick questions — what's the exact behavior when you've tried to view the live stream? Are you getting any errors? 

    Let's see if this works for you.

    1. Check the Camera app for updatesHighlight the app > Press the star (*) button on your Roku remote > Check for updates
    2. Remove app
    3. System restart
    4. Add again
