Can't view Roku Camera on TV Camera app

I can access all 3 cameras and an outlet via the roku app on my phone. Implies good connectivity via internet and everything works. BUT... when I go to view cameras via the Roku Camera app on a Roku TV, only one camera is viewable. Other cams don't connect. It was all working for a few weeks. Now I'm a thousand miles away and I can't monitor my cameras via a roku enabled TV. I'm paying for this subscription to enable this, but I can't get any help from anyone from Roku. Seems I should cancel subscription and stop telling everyone how great Roku is?

We noticed in your post that your Roku cameras' live feed will not load on your Roku TVs. Are you still experiencing the issue? If so, we recommend you try the following:

    1. Update the Roku Camera app
    2. Check your Roku TV network connection
    3. Remove the app again
    4. System restart
    5. Add the app again

    Welcome Boatjockey,

Thanks for sharing your concern about the Roku TV Camera app. We're here to help.

    Let's see if this works:

    Update the Roku Camera app

    1. Highlight the app
    2. Press the star (*) button on your Roku remote
    3. Check for updates

If the issue continues, try to remove the app, system restart the Roku TV, and add it again.

    Hope this helps.

This is my same issue. I followed these steps to try to fix it and it did not fix my issue.

Many of us have had a variety of issues since, perhaps, late February; judging from all the comments, including mine, on the app page at Google Play.

Some of us had an issue where it would take the app half a minute to open the settings when in live view, Also, the smart detection events setting area was always blank.  The siren function did not work, as well.

These were my issues that were fixed this morning with the update to ver, 3.2.4.455.

Have you verified that you have this new version?

  • I think that many of the issues folks were having with their cameras and the mobile app may have been solved with today's app update (4/4/25). I was having different problems with my indoor cameras and they now function perfectly.

  • Ok now for the real solution after everything I did to get these working Roku should give me a gift card or some free equipment!! So you may have a Roku TV but the brand matters. For me I have ONN tv with Roku. So the two TVs I tested with no luck; I did everything from factory resetting the TV re-downloading the app on the TV and even messing with my Wi-Fi set up even though it works on my cellular phone but not the app on the TV. So are you ready for the solution? I went to Walmart and picked up a Roku stick which turns a non-smart TV into a smart TV. It was 20 bucks. I plugged it in and use the app off the stick and it worked just fine.  So there you go your problem could be brand of TV. Get a Roku stick and bam you can see the cameras on any TV.

  • Hey Roku, I purchased 3 camera this past week, and paid for the subscription. They all work great on 3 cell phones and 2 tablets. I have 4 tvs that I’m trying to get these to work on. 2 Onn, 1 TCL, and one Roku. I have reset all 4 tvs, installed and reinstalled the app 3 times on each tv and well my cameras show up on the app but when I select a camera it never loads. This is on all 4 tvs.
So let me guess after paying for a subscription as well as the cameras, am I going to have to buy the Roku stick (mentioned above) in order for me to view these on the TV?
If so I’ll take my cameras back to the store for a return, and choose a different camera system for all my customers. (I was going to use these a security back up on remodeling job sites then gift the cameras to the customer once the work was done.).
