Having same issue. Just replaced my old Roku stick which had sudden static or low volume- with a Roku ultra- now the volume can be at max and I can barely hear it. I’ve rest everything- double checked audio systems. Everything from all the threads. Unfortunately I think I am just gonna send it back and get an amazon stick. It’s sounds like Roku knows it’s an issue and does not care.

Same issue. It started with only effecting one streaming service when I originally logged in. And it was only every now and then. Now it is multiple times a day no matter the streaming service. I do not have a sound bar, no additional cables. Sound will become so distorted you can not understand or hear anything except the distortion. Log off and back in, or pausing then restarting, finally have to unplug and restart. There has to be a fix for this.

Same issue here for the last year. Occurs 1-2x a week while watching YouTube TV app. Resolves only after stopping the program in progress, backing out to the main menu and returning to the prior program. Soyuz either too high and distorted or barely audible. Doesn’t matter whether using external sound bar or just TV. Highly annoying.
