Roku Streambar Sound Quality Issues

My streambar has been having crackly, quiet audio. i’ve tried system restarting, doing a hard power reset of both the streambar and TV, checked for software updates, reconnected to the TV. I don’t know what to do.

    We're glad to hear that you were happy with the Roku Streambar until the issue appeared. No worries, we'll make sure to help you resolve this. Let's have a workaround, and do a restart by navigating to Settings > System > System Restart (skip if not available) System Restart. After this, kindly check if you're still experiencing the issue.

  • I have the same issues. I even bought all new cables thinking there may be a short. It still happens randomly. I don’t know what else to do.

      We would be more than happy to look further into this issue, but we will need more details. Please provide us with the following information:

      • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About).
      • What channel and what version/build is the channel that is having the issue? (This can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button.).
      • Tracker ID when this issue occurs. (When you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID.)

        Ok it just happened again, while in Apple TV channel. Sound got crackly then when out.

    I've been a ROKU fan for years, but because of all these issues, I'm slowly moving away from ROKU, and reading all these posts I'm glad I've started moving away. And yes, ROKU customer service has a lot to be desired!!
