Turning off Atmos in the TV sound settings fixed this for me.

My TV doesn’t have Atmos settings enabled and I still have the problem

Tbh, idk what the Atmos is trying to do, but I’m guessing it is taking the raw audio and trying to process it in real time to sound more “spacious”. So, whether it is branded Atmos or not, I’d try disabling any sound “enhancing” software. Leveling, etc.

My TV has Atmos settings but they have always been and still are disabled. My Roku sound issues have nothing to do with my TV’s Atmos settings.
