With the 14.5.4 Build 5944 Update applied one day ago now the problem is back but worse. The Roku remote will not even turn on/off the TV even with the power button now. To fix the issue I changed the Remote setting from CEC to Infrared but now I point Roku Remote at TV and use Power Button. Also, I have use the TV remote to change INPUTS too. now. This is a step backward. The TV is a Sony XBR-55X930E.
Issue is resolved. I had to toggle Bravia Sync OFF/ON and reboot both devices. Now Roku Home and Power buttons work over CEC as expected with Sony TV except Home press again doesn't wake TV.
So TV wouldn't turn on. I disconnected all cables including power and left it like that overnight. Reconnected the cables in morning. Now everything works as should. Press HOME and Roku and TV wake using CEC.
