ONN Soundbar 32 Voice Announcement

This sound bar does only announce the sound bar status. The voice is connected to the sound bar and would say the same thing regardless of that the sound bar was connected to.

Yes, use the Soundbar remote, have the tv set to hdmi input the Soundbar is connected to, and use their directions to go into the soundbar settings.

I’m not finding anything in the instructions (product guide) that was provided.

    On the back of the ONN sound bar remote, it states:

    "To Enable/Disable voice prompt: Press and hold + and - buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds". 

    You will get a confirmation voice prompt that it is now off.

      Incorrect. Holding the two buttons does not turn that horrible feature off.

        Pressing the + and - on the circular part of the remote, not the bass + - worked for me
