You can't get your local channels on any Roku device that isn't a TV without some streaming provider ($$$) that provides them and has an accompanying app. Any reference you see to "inputs" or "antenna" is strictly for Roku TVs. Sorry, but unless you want to pay for a provider, you'll need two remotes. Roku devices that aren't sticks that plug directly into a TV without the need for an HDMI cable work with many universal remotes, so that would be a way to only have to use one remote.
