See if the instructions in this link help for cloudpath errors on channels in the NBC/Universal family:

Hi Chiquitamill
Thanks for the post.
Could you tell us first the exact issue you're experiencing? Does it only occur on one channel or across other channels installed on your Roku device? Please also let us know the troubleshooting you've done so we know what steps we should take next.
With more information, we can assist you further.
All the best,
Kariza- aliroamNewbie
It’s happening for me on all the channels that are under the NBC umbrella…such as NBC, bravo, USA etc.

It sounds like the app isn't able to reach the service. I'd wait it out for a few hours. If, say, the next morning, the issue remains, try removing the app, rebooting the Roku, then reinstalling the app. In that order.

I've been waiting it out for a few weeks now. NBC sends a long list of fixes, but none of them work. Hope someone comes up with a fix soon, as a Sling subscription is $40 per month, and that just gets me MSNBC.
I can’t open up my nbc show that I miss last Wednesday Chicago med and Fire

Hi DarleneHoffman,
Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!
We recommend starting here to troubleshoot channel issues: Follow these steps in order:
1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the * key on your remote, and choose 'Remove channel'.
2. Next, restart your device from Settings>System>Power>System restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step)
3. Once your player/TV starts up again, go to 'Streaming Channels' on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.To help troubleshoot the issue further, follow this link: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support
Please keep us posted and we'll continue assisting you from there.
Best regards,
Mary

Mine seems to do it after every show. Watch local news and within a minute of the next show, black screen and error message. Press ok and goes to the guide. Sometimes it works after going to desired show and spinning dots appear. Sometimes it doesn’t.
I’ll watch nightly news and then when wheel of fortune comes on, screen goes blank. Finally get it working and then happens when jeopardy comes on, then Chicago Med, fire, pd etc. you can’t just put it on LIVE, select a channel and watch the shows consecutively. Frustrating

I keep getting an error message. The error code is CliudpathErrorAuthoruzationNIP. Can you help me please

Cloudpath authorization errors deal with logging you into your subscription to channels that use the Cloudpath service for their subscription management, such as the NBC/Universal family of channels.
One thing that some have reported fixes this is going into the channel on your Roku, logging/signing out, then logging/signing back in again.

I have removed the channel and reinstalled it, as well as log out and sign back in with the same results. Even logged out, removed it, reinstalled it and then signed back in.
still will play a few into the next show and then go blank with the cloudpath error message pops up. Says go back or ok and it takes you to the guide and you select the show and if you click on it too soon will show the cloud path error again, so have to wait like 30-45 seconds and then will take me to the show I wanna watch. Which of course makes you miss the first minute or so and on some shows, that’s the whole gist of the what the show is about or the episode is trying to solve.
frustrating.

It’s not letting me play my show it says there is an error

Hi Jstclair2025
Welcome to the Roku Community!
Does the issue only occur on the NBC channel or across other channels installed on your Roku device?
Have you tried removing the affected channel NBC channel and then re-install again? If not, we suggest starting there. In some cases, removing the affected channel and then re-installing it may help. Restart your device before re-adding the channel back in to ensure the process is successful. We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.
For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link for more information: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support.
Let us know if there's any difference after.
