Live TV Error Keeps Showing

I have a roku tv, and im also getting the live tv error claiming it doesnt work and it needs an update. Ive seen several posts where people quit replying after the opening post. Ive rebooted the tv, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, rebooted the router and wifi, every single thing. So short of throwing this massive mistake of a purchase in the garbage, what else is left? What's the point of a tv without live channels?

    Hey, dwain1771

We understand you're having trouble with Live TV not working—thanks for already trying some troubleshooting steps to fix it! Please share more info.

    • Are the issues limited to Live TV, or do other apps seem affected too?
    • When did the issue first start?
    • A photo of the error message would be great.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

It's only live tv, im not able to attach a photo, not sure how. It started about 3 months ago, and everything is updated. Tried with an antenna on the roof and a small one from Amazon.  Both confirmed working on other tvs.

To access antenna channels through your Roku TV, you could try the following steps.

        1. Connect the coaxial cable to the Ant/Cable In connector on the back of your TV.
        2. Go to Settings > TV inputs > select Antenna TV or Live TV > Set up input
        3. After setting up the input, select 'Start scanning for channels.
        4. Roku scans for antenna channels and adds them to your Live TV guide.
        5. To watch Live TV, go back to the Home screen and select the Live TV input tile.
