ESPN app crashes and hangs.

I'm having a rough time with the ESPN app running on my TCL Roku 75" TV.

Every time I've used it since the start of hockey season (early Oct) the app has locked up or crashed.

If I'm advancing playback using the fast forward key or 30 second advance controls (right arrow of center control), sometimes the app will just lock up and freeze. The only way I've found to continue is to back out using the home button and restart the app, then spend the time navigating to where I was watching the game.

Sometimes, the app will just quit and throw me out to the Roku home menu, so, once again, I need to restart the app, and navigate to where I was watching the game using fast foward controls, which can lock up the app again.

These issues have cropped up both when I'm "chasing" a game to catch up on the action, or, when live streaming in real time.

Anything I can try or do?

Does Roku monitor this channel and fix such issues?

The ESPN app is somewhat aggravating.
