Universal Monster Live TV adjusted the time schedule straight 10 hours
To whom it may concern, My wife and I are grateful that Roku has dedicated a Live TV channel to the Universal Monster classics. We were beside ourselves with excitement when we discovered the channel last October, and each week since, we have repeatedly watched our favorite movies religiously, shunning other forms of entertainment and blocking out hours each week to watch the five Abbott & Costello movies, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, and so on. Though we own these films on physical media, we specifically enjoy looking forward to watching them on a predictable programming schedule. However, at the beginning of October this year, the Universal Monsters channel schedule was lamentably adjusted. Not only did the updated schedule include a new sequence of banal 21st century horror movies, but it also includes a mind-numbingly repetitive daily stream of episodes of The Munsters that plays for nearly ten straight hours from the early afternoon through the prime time slots and past midnight. This has simultaneously upset our viewing routine and scheduled our very favorite films during the small hours of the night when all decent folk are asleep. The uninspired horror films of the new millennium are an unfortunate addition to the schedule, but will there ever be an end to the brutally relentless onslaught of The Munsters episodes? Exasperatedly yours, Jos. Morrison4.6KViews8likes26CommentsLogin 6 digit pin and paraphrase???
I just downloaded an app for Empire Access TV for a new TV. The app comes up, and to get in it’s asking for a six digit login number and then a Passphrase. I have no idea what these should be. No other apps I’ve downloaded asked for these two pieces of information. If I have to login with these, how do I establish them in Roku??7Views0likes1CommentHaving issues with Roku "skipping" at the end of an episode
My Roku has recently started having issues when watching shows on any app (Prime Video, Paramount, Hulu, etc) where it "skips" the last couple minutes of an episode and it won't advance to the next. When I say skip, it's like the old days where a CD or vinyl would have a scratch and it would just play the same part over and over. The end of an episode won't finish, but it won't move on to the next episode. I have tried every troubleshooting suggestions, even going as far as doing a factory reset. Anyone else experience this, and if so, how did you resolve?6Views0likes0CommentsUpgraded to wifi 6 TP AX55 router - now airply will not mirror on TCL ROKU tv.
Had a TP Link wifi 5 router - airplay no issues as well as no issues with Tablo OTA dvr - now upgraded to AX55/3000 TP Link router - airplay will not mirror, nor does the Tablo legacy app work any longer on Roku tv. Switch back to wifi 5 router and it works. Have done all the trouble shooting items, for mirroring, ensure all is turned on properly, same network, resets, unplug this and that, re cycles, all updated versions etc etc. Nothing. Have googled the issue and tried some of the work arounds suggested - nothing. Wifi 6 is supposed to be backward compatible so should not be an issue. Does anyone have tips for how to get the HBO Max app to keep track of what I've been watching correctly? About 50% of the time it will remember where I left off, but frequently it skips back at least 1-2 episodes and shows watched episodes as unwatched. I've even tried pausing / stopping watching mid-episode, waiting a few minutes before quitting the HBO app, and a few other things -- whether my next session picks up at the correct place seems totally random. I don't expect the HBO Max app to be as good as Netflix, but this seems like some pretty basic functionality that does not work reliably in the slightest. Mainly using a Roku Ultra, but have a Roku Streambar as well.140Views1like5CommentsNew YouTube app navigation buttons
Suddenly the youtube app navigation buttons are all moved and it's frustrating as . I used to hit the left navigation button to back up, just like it's always been on other roku boxes, but now that takes me to the Subscribe button for whatever channel the video is on. Please move the buttons back to how they were a week or so ago. I'm in the southeast US, on a Roku Ultra Lt box.44Views2likes2Comments
