Welcome, StoneDeafDude
It appears that the closed captions feature vanishes after commercial breaks on the Roku Channel app.
To help narrow things down, let us know...
- Is this happening on the Live or On-Demand content on The Roku Channel? If this is a specific show, mind sharing the title?
Hoping to hear from you soon!

Hello Arcelyn,
I have experienced this with every program I watch regularly on Roku, such as these programs: Cops, Casualty 24/7, Holmes Inspection, DIY-SOS, and The First 48. It also happens when watching movies.
Just checked and this does not occur on live programming.

Hi, StoneDeafDude
We're looking to gather a few more details to help us investigate further. Could you please share the Device ID and Tracker ID of your TCL Fire TV? Also, let us know if you're experiencing the same issue on any other devices.
Looking forward to your response!

Hi Arcelyn,
I have no idea how to determine the Device ID and Tracker ID of my television. The only info I have been able to find is:
Smart TV - Amazon Fire Edition, Serial # GNJ2WV00331500E2, Software Version: OS 7.7.0.4 (PS7704/5024), Fire TV Home Version: 7231001.1, and Model # TCL_43S450F.
I do not watch television on any other device.
Hope this is enough info for you to work with, Thanks, I'm David.
