Channel not recognizing my Roku sign in information

I have a channel that Roku says I am currently paying for the subscription, but when I try to sign in with my Roku account to that channel it says it’s wrong. However, I can still use that same email and password to sigh into Roku itself. Why is it doing this? Does anyone else have this problem?

If you subscribed to your unnamed mystery channel through Roku, you probably have to view it through The Roku Channel, not the channel's own dedicated app.

Welcome to the Roku Community, Interweave!

We'd be happy to be of assistance here and provide further information regarding this matter.

Before we proceed. we'd like to assess your concern better and it would be great if you could provide us with additional information such as follows:

      • What specific app are you having this issue with?
      • Is your subscription billed via Roku or directly from this app?
      • Are you able to access this app before?

In the meantime, if your subscription is billed via Roku, we highly recommend accessing this inside The Roku Channel.

We'll be looking forward to your confirmation.

      Warm regards,
      Carly

I have subscribed to BritBox through Roku for the past year with no problems but now when I try to access it, I'm asked to sign in.  However, when I use the Roku email and password I get a message saying it's incorrect.  After several tries with no luck, I went to Paramount+ , which I also subscribe to through Roku, and I have no problem accessing it.  I checked my account and see that I'm still paying for BritBox through Roku so why can't I open it?
