Add Local Channels To Frndly

I've been fiddling with my antenna for days. Since Roku now owns Frndly TV, I'm requesting that Roku considers an add-on featuring local channels. That would make the app even more attractive for tho...

    That’s an interesting idea, and thanks for taking the time to lay it out. Just a quick note: it's up to the developers of each app to decide whether they want to make their app available on Roku. Reaching out to them directly is always a good step.

    While we can’t speak to any future plans, feedback like yours helps us understand what matters most to the community.

I think an ideal scenario would be...

  • Roku buys Nuvyyo, the Tablo company
  • The Tablo app is discontinued, and all of the Tablo features are integrated into Frndly (which allows the guide to be customized)
  • Tablo devices are renamed with a Roku branding

 

In any case, I think that local channels belong on Frndly TV, whether they're offered as a streaming add-on, or connected via antenna. Just my opinion.
