The freeze happens as soon as playback is selected. The screen turns blank, no sound. No response to remote control inputs. Only way to solve it is to power cycle the device. Then it would work again. So it appears the issue occurs after the device has been on for a period of time.
Did they ever get back to you? We are still experiencing this issue.
I am also still experiencing issues w/ Youtube on my Streambar. Either freezes with a black screen mid video, or goes black and exits youtube app back to the home screen. Been going on for months. Definitely seems related to the advertisements. The app did have an update over the weekend, but this issue is still happening. Very frustrating.
It seems to me that, it’s all of their devices whether the stream bar, stick or Ultra experiencing this YouTube issue
I can’t believe a lot of people we are experiencing this and none has happened since the oldest comment in this trend
