I'm having the same exact issue. Nothing but a purple Roku screen for about 20-30 seconds and then goes back to the home screen. I've chatted with Roku service. Tried all the things several times; deleted app, reinstalled, turned off phone, both are on the same network. I was told it was an Apple iOS issue. Called Apple today. We did a restore of the iOS (18.5 iOS ). Still not working they said talk to Roku. Roku app software version is 12.7.1.27047853.3 (this is from my husband's phone since the app won't open on mine)
I have a 14 pro max. My daughter and husband have the same phone and all running 18.5 iOS also. My daughter isn't having any issues. The app comes open on my husbands's phone but won't detect the devices that are on the account.
I've been dealing with this for 2 weeks now.
