sorry to hear it's affecting others, but glad it's not just me and my setup.
I'll try system restart/reset and see if it helps.
What an annoying bug!
Ok here the real wiered part.
When it happens, if just let the show go for a few seconds then hit the back button to get out of the show. Wait for the little progress bar to show under the show icon. Hit resume and the it works!

When did you start noticing this issue? Also, are there any recent updates before this happened? Lastly, is this happening on all apps or only on a specific app?

Started happening about a week ago. There was an update at that time but, since I did a factory reset and it still happens I imagine it is the latest update.
It's a tcl roku tv. Says lat updated 4/11/25 at 1239 am.
Software version 14.5.4, build 5939
I also have only seen it (or noticed) on paramount plus version 9.7 build 20250320
Again. I've done a factory reset, and still happening so I did magineis the latest roku update and the latest paramount update.
Again, I can get around it, by letting show run a few seconds. Going out of show, and waiting for the progress bar on show preview to show a bit of progress. The it works.
If the show shows no progress it doesn't work right.
Seems the system is not tracking where it is until a fewinutes of the show play.
Also I have several Roku tcl TVs and only seeing it on one.
Tcl model 65s425, hardware id c103x, software version 14.5

One more things, skip recap has same problem. And like I said the problem goes away once the. Show shows "resume" the problem goes away.
