[Solved] TRC – Paramount+ – Black Screen When Opening Live Local Channel

Hey, everyone.

We're aware of an issue where a black screen appears when attempting to open a live local channel on Paramount+.

So is there a solution to this or is it just an acknowledgement of the problem? I have the same problem, local affiliate comes up on Roku app, shows current network (CBS8/KFMB) broadcast, when selected, goes to black screen. This is the primary viewing option, without it I have no use for ROKU.

We started having the same issue yesterday. The local cbs station will open, but then shut off immediately. This is the main reason we keep paramount plus. I’ve tried resetting everything, but nothing works.

Status Update 7/16: This is currently under investigation.

We're aware of an issue where a black screen appears when attempting to open a live channel on Paramount+.
