[Solved] Live Channel Disappearing

Hey everyone!

Status Update 2/13 1 PM PST:

We're aware that some users were experiencing an issue where live channels may disappear.

Good news! It looks like this issue has been resolved for most users.

If you're still experiencing this issue, try the following:

  1. Restart your Roku device:
    • Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart.

Let us know if this resolves the issue for you!

    Good news— the disappearing live TV issue has been resolved for most of you!  Thanks so much for your patience.

    Resolution:
    If you haven’t tried restarting your device yet, we highly recommend giving that a shot.

    • Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart.

    We're closing this thread now to help us organize other concerns. If you're still having trouble, please start a new thread and include the following info so we can dig into it:

    • Model/device info (DID or serial number) – just a heads up, not all Roku devices are supported for Live TV
    • Your location
    • When the issue happened (Has it been recent, or since you first got your device?)
    • A photo or screenshot of the issue

    Thanks for sticking with us, and we're doing our best to get everything running smoothly for everyone!

    Hey everyone! 

    We believe the issue with disappearing live channels is resolved for most users. 

    If you’re still having trouble, please share the info I requested earlier. Let us know if you’ve restarted your device or what troubleshooting steps you’ve tried so far.

    Also, if you can, please provide:

    • Roku device info
    • A screenshot (if possible)
    • Tracking ID (including the GC version)
    • Your location
    • The exact behavior or issue you're experiencing

    This will help us investigate further and make sure we get this sorted for everyone. Thanks for your patience!

      Local OTA (over the area digital) channels are only available if you have a Roku TV with a digital tuner and a external antenna.  You can't get OTA channels with a Roku Streaming Stick.

        My TV has Roku built in.   I believe I already mentioned that.  This has been solved on my part.  No further responses to my thread are necessary.   Thanks!😉
