Hi, I recently bought a TCL 43” Class S4 (43S451) 4K UHD HDR Smart TV from area code 94565.
The Roku TV was working fine until a couple of days ago. Every time I watch live TV from a connected antenna, the screen goes dark and all audio stops at 30 minute intervals- basically when the show ends and another one is about to come on. For example, if I am watching a show that starts at 7pm, the TV will go dark at 7:30 pm, and so forth.
It is not an auto power off timer, I checked these settings. It seems to be tied to the live TV app or guide itself and it doesn’t matter what live channel I’m watching. It happens on all of the live channels but not the streaming services.
I have to turn the tv off and on to see the screen again. Can anyone help me with this? It was a lot to get the tv and set it up and really don’t want to return it.
You can just change the channel and then change it back to your original channel - no need to power off.
