My Roku TV by TCL just recently began this problem.
It simply stops playing and goes to a black screen after varied amounts of time. Usually it's about 50 minutes.
The TV does not shut off, only black screen not playing anything. If I use the remote and tap the left arrow the guide displays immediately as normal. Selecting the same channel returns me to black screen. Choosing any othe channel shows that channel normally. It will then allow returning to previous channel. After several minutes the problem recurs.
Have done system restart and software update. Have restarted modem and router. I use a wired connection and I have speeds in both directions over 500Mbps.
Any ideas???

This same issue just started yesterday on my Westinghouse Roku TV. Definitely happens on LiveTV. Haven't had a chance to see if happens on other apps/channels. Software version 14.5 here as well.

Same issue. Been driving me crazy. Re-scanned channels, swapped power adapters for my OTA antenna. Almost reset my TV back to defaults but after reading these, pretty convinced a software update has done it. Also on 14.5 version. (14.5.4 ,build 5944) Just watching TV like normal and it just goes to No Signal. Backing out and going to another channel fixes it. Then back to the original channel and it works fine. For a while. Happened about 4-5 times today so far.

Same issue... started a couple days ago. 14.5 and I've tried everything. Including a factory reset. Lost all my apps and all my stuff just to see if it would fix it and it did not🤬

Same issue with my 55"RCA Roku tv. Software version 14.5. returns to normal after channel changes as well. Edit* also build 5944 as someone else mentioned.

I have exact same issue, started yesterday I believe, maybe the day before.
Just on live Tv, Netflix and others work fine.

I have an TCL Roku 43 in. It started Friday ( this is when I noticed it happing. Just got back from vacation)
it happened on the live Tv app.
my software is 14.6 build 4.9911-93

Same exact thing happening to me. 43 inch TCL Roku TV, all live channels including the Roku Channel, only started in the last day or so. Frequency seems to be random, but longer intervals with streaming channels verses OTA.
