[Solved] Back button on Roku not working

Is it possible the remote is no longer working or could it be the Roku device itself? I don't think it is a battery issue.
nope, it's system wide issue, I have two separate Roku's/remotes. Issue first started last night and continued this morning.
Some say the restart/reboot fixes it but last night that would not work for me.
what does temporarily fix it is using the star button to toggle the closed caption popup.
close the popup, then the back arrow button works again, for a while at least
Hasn’t worked for me either. Ditching Roku and going with Google from now on.
