[Solved] Back button on Roku not working

Status update 8/28: We believe the issue is now resolved by performing a system restart.

Appears fixed between my last post and now. No restart. I tested using paramount app on home screen. Kudos if this fixes all the aps!
not for me, just now tried to use the back arrow button and no joy, even after restarting
