Mary, this seems to be a compatibility issue within apps. As we have stated, with Netflix, Prime, and YouTube there is no issue. While with other apps, e.g. Paramount+, Tubi, Fandango this issue is evident.

    True, Netflix, Prime, YouTube apps weren't affected, from what I was seeing too while other apps were experiencing the issue. Of all the apps, the "Ruku Channel" app was affected with no back button functionality. This issue is now resolved for me. The system restart suggestion did work for me but only within the last few hours.
