Roku Channel LiveTV Channels List Print

(Guide updated October 15, 2025) Note: Roku addressed prior bug/error with the two channel 501. Law and Order is on ch 501. 48hrs is on ch 502. 48hrs and Beyond is now at ch 546. Below is a printable/viewable guide for the Roku Channel linear Live TV lineup with their assigned numbers. Will generally try to do a monthly update unless I notice significant changes have been made to the lineup. I have posted these reference files to an encrypted storage site (mega.nz). You can review and download the most recent pdf (print), and source Libre Office .ods (spreadsheet) files there. Feel free to edit and do whatever else you want with the files. Let me know if you run into any issues. https://mega.nz/folder/7HZXyJxa#YqdXb_ApQHIjfvzMY4mHeQ <--Download files. If your Roku Live TV guide is missing the channel numbers (ie. only showing channel icons), launch the Live TV guide, navigate to the left over to where the channel icons are, and press the asterisk (*) button on Roku remote. Select 'Sort Channel List', then select 'By Channel number'. Click on image to enlarge. (sample page from guide). [Roku Channel Live TV printable guide]

Live TV not working, black screen except when using home button first

When I change channels on Live TV, antenna, not roku channel, I only get a black screen. If I press the home button, select Live tv, I get which ever channel I stopped on. If I use up or down to change channel, the screen goes black. When I return to the previously working channel, it will now be black. If I hit home again, Live tv, which ever channel I stopped on comes back.

Getting local channels using a digital antenna on Roku tv

Before I moved I could use a digital antenna to flip through my local affiliate channels like ABC and FOX on my Roku TV. Since I've moved, the live TV feature only has local news casts of affiliates from all over the country but can't watch the local channels actual live programming anymore. Am I missing something in the settings?

Hide top picks on Live TV

"You can totally hide the top picks on your Roku home screen. Just head over to Settings > Home Screen > Recommendation Rows > Hide, " that does not hide top picks! We need a way to hide the top picks for you in the live tv guide. The tiles of top picks are annoying!

ROKU TV only showing SOME over the air channels

We have other TVs connected to the OTA channels and no problems. Our ROKU TV will connect to the OTA guide and we can see SOME channels but not all. The ones that don't come through say "No Signal". Have researched this forum and followed all ideas on how to fix, nothing has worked. And again, it's odd what's happening. Our other TVs work just fine, all channels come through, all signals are fine.

Black Screen with Sound - when moving between Antenna Channels to Streaming Channels

In the past week or two my ROKU TV has developed a BLACK OUT glitch. When I am watching an antenna channel and then scroll to or jump through Favorites to a streaming channel, the picture and sound pops up as it should --- then a couple seconds later the picture goes black. It does not matter how many times you click previous channel then try again... the result is always the same.... black screen with sound. When the streaming channel is BLACK, the only work around I have found is to click the up or down button to go to another STREAMING channel, then immediately return to the channel I was wanting to watch. This action of course does away with the convenience of the "return to previous channel" function, and makes watching both an antenna and streaming channel simultaneously using the return button impossible.

Looking for Private Channels Feature or IPTV on Roku? Time to buy a different device!

Goodbye Roku! Hello Amazon FireTV! Just an FYI if you want to be able to use IPTV streaming services, invest in an Amazon FireTV stick, I've seen them new as low as $14.99. Or maybe you hate everything Amazon. Fair enough, there's plenty of other device that utilize an Open Android system. Unlike Android-based operating systems, the Roku OS is a modified Linux OS which acts as its own closed system, meaning there is no way to jailbreak it or customize it. AKA, if they don't want you to use IPTV services, you don't. Save yourself the hassle of searching for hours on ways to sideload Roku with any IPTV streaming services, it is flat out a waste of time. If you are lucky enough to sneak one by on a sideload, it will be quickly disabled and your ability to sideload at all will be revoked. Roku made a definite mistake and underestimated the importance of their Private Channels feature. I for example am getting rid of ALL the many Roku devices I had on different TV's and have sworn off the company. I made one last ditch effort today to see if I could save the devices from storage by sideloading any IPTV streaming service and after wasting 1-2 hours trying, I am throwing in the towel SO SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. I used to love Roku products and recommended them to all of my friends and family but removing such a beloved feature on all of their devices, I made the switch to Amazon (blegh) FireTV and haven't looked back. That said, I am by no means an Amazon fan and may switch further to just a generic Android device for TVs, that way I can install TiviMate Premium. If you have an IPTV streaming service plan, I'd highly recommend you do the same! Roku cut the private channel feature out of pure greed. They couldn't profit from it, so why allow it to continue? I'm proof why. You will continue to lose customers to your top competitors over this gaffe, I guarantee it. Adios, have fun on your closed system Roku's!

    What Happened to MSNBC

I know MSNBC has changed their name to MSNBC NOW, but now it doesn't show up in my NBC networks. Neither does Golf Channel. What happened? Any suggestions?

    Suggestion: aggregated live TV grid

It would be great if Roku offered a live TV grid that aggregates live channels from multiple sources (free apps like The Roku Channel and Pluto TV, and cable apps like YouTube TV and Hulu Live TV). This is the key feature that Amazon Fire TV and Google TV have over Roku. Older generations are used to the linear TV experience and this would help make Roku even more senior-friendly.
