I'm not new to Roku devices... but i appreciate thinking outside the box. Also the remote is completely unresponsive... i don't think this explains things. Please find below the previous message i received from customer support... but she is no longer responding to messages and never did send replacement remotes. remote suddenly not working and any time batteries in … it makes a high pitched squeal. The remote is completely unresponsive, no flashing light on back with cover removed, holding down pairing button does nothing. model: RC-AL2 sku: 32260005111.8KViews0likes12Comments
