As of Sept. 15th, I've been having the same problem. The star button on my TV screen is NOT greyed out, BTW. I've tried all the suggestions with no results. Also, suddenly last week, my Roku app on my Android phone isn't "found", so I can't use my Roku remote to, say, listen to the TV on my phone. I've done everything I can think of, including trying the suggestions in this forum. If the only solution is to do a factory reset, I may as well ditch Roku and go with another streaming device....one whose customer service actually provides customer service to its customers!2.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Express 4K+ Remote compatible w/ LG TV?
I'm having the exact problem using my Express 4K+ remote with both my 2020 Samsung TV and my brother's 2021 LG TV. Software for the Roku Remote and both TV is up to date. Remote's voice control and channel control work, but turning on/off and volume control don't work. If somebody could tell me the name and model of a couple or more ALL the TVs Express 4K+ features will work with, I'd be very appreciative. Geesh, wouldn't you think Roku would mention the fact that all the remote's features may not work with some TVs....and then give us a list of TVs that will be able to use ALL the remote's features? Sure would save us customers and Roku's customer service reps a lot of time and trouble, not to mention aggravation. This is no way to win friends and influence people.2.2KViews0likes7Comments
