Wireless Receiver Not Found/Remote

Had to reset my Roku device the Roku screen now says “wireless receiver not found” even though it’s plugged in and connected. Also my remote will not show up in the app and connect. The only button that works is the power button but it does not turn the screen on our off the light simply lights up. I put new batteries in it. Now i can’t access anything on my TV and my remote is not even showing up in my app.

@Savannah22, without the wireless receiver the app and the remote won't work (except for the TV controls).  They are known to go bad, but should be covered by the one year warranty.  You can also try to contact support at https://support.roku.com/contactus and see if they'll do anything for you.  Use the option for "Account, payments & subscriptions" to try to get to a chat option.
