My 3710x suddenly will no longer connect to the wifi

My 3710x suddenly will not connect to my wifi (eero). It's been working fine for months. Have restarted cable modem, router, and roku and nothing works. It detects the network, and the password is correct. Every other device in my house works. What is going on?

@bglais01  The 3710 is a very old unit. It’s possible you have an internal failure with the unit. You can try a factory reset. If that does not work then purchase a newer Roku. Your 3710 is also only a single band WiFi unit. It will only work on the 2.4 GHz WiFi b,g,n. Your ISP made have changed settings in your modem with an update. If you set your modem to work on 2.4 GHz b,g,n this might resolve the issue too

@bglais01

If you have a cable ISP (Xfinity/Comcast, Cox, or AT&T), then there is a known issue with connecting to 2.4ghz devices like your Roku Express+ 3710 due to their Router firmware updates.

The initial troubleshooting step is to verify that [ b/g/n ] Wireless Mode or Protocol is Enabled in your gateway's (router) wireless settings under the 2.4 ghz band.

------

Instructions for Changing the Router/Gateway Settings….

Xfinity / Comcast → ( https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-wifi-mode-admin-tool-xfinity-xfi ) with a walkthrough ( https://community.roku.com/t5/Network-Wireless-Wired-Connections/Error-014-30-stuck-for-three-days/m...)

Cox → (https://www.cox.com/residential/support/managing-your-in-home-network-with-my-wifi.html)

AT&T → (https://www.att.com/support/article/u-verse-high-speed-internet/KM1046172). You can select your appropriate router from the drop down menu.

--------

Restart both your Router and the Roku device after making the above change.

Feel free to post an update or if you need more help.  If the above is not applicable to you, post your router model number and ISP.
