After network connection reset, no connection

Roku was periodically disconnecting from programming & flipping back to home. After several restarts didn't fix, I did a network connection reset, and it wouldn't take the password. Created a new password, appears to accept it but can't connect at all. Other connected devices work fine, including Firestick on the same TV. After a trillion restarts & reboots of all devices, still not working. If At this point I'd just go out & buy a whole new Roku device IF it would make this problem go away because this is a real time suck trying to troubleshoot when I have no idea what the problem is. Please advise TY!

Thanks for posting regarding the issue you are experiencing with your Roku device: periodically disconnecting from programming and flipping back to the home screen.
We would be more than happy to look further into the issue you are experiencing, but we will need more information.

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Does this issue occur on a specific channel? If so, what channel and version/build is the channel (this can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button.)
  • Tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID).
  • Steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

Once we have this information, we can pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.
