Roku Express takes forever to boot up

Hello everyone, Ive had this weird issue for a while now and its getting on my nerves. When i plug my extension cord in the wall, it takes 20+ minutes to boot into home. It first switches between check signal cable and no signal gor the most part, then it shows the bouncing roku logo before doing it again. Basically, its really annoying having to wait so long just to watch some stuff on my tv.
