Mom has poor eye sight and changes channels on xfinity by voice. To keep her expenses down, I switched her to Roku and ATT TV Now. But she lost the ability say things like “Fox Business” or “Science Channel” to switch among available channels.

If Elon Musk can upend established industries, surely Roku can work with its streaming TV partners to solve this fundamental usability issue.

Just upgraded to the Roku streaming stick.  I have a TV with firestick built in and I can change channels in Youtube TV easily. I thought the Roku upgrade would allow me to do the same, but when I say "Change to HGTV", the app exits Youtube TV and goes to HGTV go.   I hope there is an upgrade coming.
