I use Roku for Plex and defined apps. I don't want to watch LiveTV nor do I want my kids to scroll through random stuff.

The option to "hide" exists, but it would be good for the "hide" options to require the parental code to switch back to show...much like adding a channel. In fact any time, you have an option to hide something, go ahead and let that be controlled by the parental code.

This should be fairly simple.

Various kind of parental controls is most requested feature for years.

Nothing yet. 

Workaround: two Roku devices, different accounts, select different channels for each. Will need wireless controls (or use phone) for one.

Unplug the "parents" Roku when not in use, lock it away.

And enable channel add pin on all accounts.
